NK School Committee loses another after Briody steps down

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — North Kingstown School Committee member Thomas Briody has resigned after a year on the panel and is the second member of the group to leave within two months.

It follows a former neighbor’s complaint about Briody’s aggressive behavior toward him during a November 16 School Committee meeting. Briody said his leaving was a “private matter” related to his family and not any issues as a committee member. READ MORE
